Great hotel with lovely design. Staff were also helpful and friendly. Cleaning / housekeeping was great. The room was always clean and they organized some of my toiletries and wires by the side tables (details). I didn’t like the fact the doors had no swing lock, no peep hole to see who’s knocking and soundproofing wasn’t the greatest. I could hear everything nearby though thankfully my side was pretty quiet until last few days when other guests checked in. The doors were kind of raised above the ground so the sounds were pretty clear from both sides. Either way it was a very good stay, felt safe and was clean. I didn’t try the other facilities like pool, cinema or breakfast area but they looked nice. Most areas were about 15-30 minutes max walking. Near Atocha station if you want to go to Barcelona and near Retiro park.

Casa de las Artes Hotel was absolutely exceptional! The design was breathtaking - every corner was so thoughtfully curated and incredibly aesthetic. Everything was so clean, and I loved the custom body creams and care products from a local brand. The hotel provided every amenity imaginable, from dental kits to beautifully designed glasses for coffee, wine, and water. My room was sunny and spacious. The bed was super comfortable, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the room was impressive. You should have seen the restaurant (a separate piece of art and luxury!). The staff was warm and attentive! Special thanks to Paola, for her amazing friendly support! I cannot recommend this place enough - it’s a hidden gem I’ll definitely return to!

+ This hotel has a good design, nice modern interior decoration and smiley reception staff, as well as beautiful bar/breakfast area. It is very well located for the museums and the cool districts such as the Literary Quarter and Latina. The neighbourhood is a world apart from the well-healed neighbourhoods like Salamanca though. - Our standard rooms were small. Our used tea/coffee cups were not changed for days in a row. One day the spa was shut early and this was not announced properly, resulting in disappointment which didn’t get compensated for. We were also promised tapas upon arrival for staying 5 days, which never materialised. I think there is potential for better management.

Great location. Near Prado, Retiro park, Slamanca on one side and a 15-20min walk towards the Gran Via, Plaza Mayor area on the other side. Breakfast was great, not a large variety of meals but quite sufficient in choice and tasty. We tried the restaurant in the afternoon as well, also was wonderful. Staff very polite and helpful. Loved the complimentary drinks in the bar upon the arrival. Gym is great, clean and well equipped; opet 0-24h. Really loved this part. Room was maintained twice a day, regular cleaning and evening turnover with chocolates on the bed and complimentary water bottles on the bedside.

The room was a bit small to move around (have to unpack, no real room for suitcases to remain open), but there's enough space on the open rack, table and bathroom vanity for everything. Very clean, the bathroom is larger than most with very high ceiling. The bar/ restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! We availed ourselves to the complimentary cocktail and tapas, but otherwise did not eat there. Location is directly in front of a metro stop. Taxi was arranged for us when leaving to go to the airport, otherwise, we walked everywhere.
